Callaway have always been well known for producing highly innovative and technology packed irons and It took many years for Callaway to start producing full blades. When they did eventually start to produce them, they were some of the finest blades to be found anywhere. The Callaway Apex MB 21 is the latest incarnation of their extremely popular line of Apex blades and for most blade aficionados it is going to be love at first sight. A new swing-weight screw has been engineered into the back of the head of the Callaway Apex MB 21 which enables Callaway to dial in the swing-weight of each club without adversely affecting the CG of the club head. As with all bladed irons there are penalties for missing the middle of the club face, but the Callaway Apex MB does a good job of keeping those penalties down to a minimum. They are aimed at the better ball striker though but also lend themselves to be used as part of a combo set where a golfer could have the new APEX TCB in the harder to hit longer irons and then the Apex MB in the shorter irons.
