The most played driver on the PGA Tour for five years and counting is getting better. Introducing 3 brand new models, Titleist welcomes its latest release, the GT range. The most technologically advanced and best-performing drivers to date, the GT2 GT3 and GT4 are engineered to deliver total driver performance with no sacrifice. Aside from its aesthetic upgrade, the new GT line is longer, straighter and more forgiving than any Titleist driver before it.
The 3 Models:
GT2 - Designed for speed and forgiveness across the face with a higher MOI setup.
GT3 - Designed for fine-tuned speed and control, maximising distance and optimising flight.
NEW FEATURES
Each driver features an all-new Seamless Thermoform Crown comprised of a new Proprietary Matrix Polymer. This unique, ultra-light material allowed Titleist engineers the ability to place discretionary mass in the optimal locations for each different model, providing incredible boosts to speed and stability in combination with their Split Mass Construction. Refined aerodynamics increase clubhead speed and a new Speed Ring and VFT face design contribute to enhancing ball speed on both centre and off-centre strikes.
All in all, Titleist are incredibly particular about ensuring that any new release is superior in performance to its predecessor. Titleist's VP of Golf Club Marketing said the following "For GT, it needed to be faster than TSR. It needed to be longer and straighter, and it has to sound better, look better and feel better. GT delivers across the board without compromise."
FAIRWAYS
The all-new GT line of fairways build upon the engineering breakthroughs that created the GT driver line, delivering exceptional performance from material and construction advancements. GT fairways offer quicker speeds, higher flight windows, optimal spin and longer carry distance in their two new models, providing total performance from the tee box or hitting in to the green. Both releases (GT2 & GT3) feature the new Seamless Thermoform Crown made from Titleist's revolutionary Proprietary Matrix Polymer which, from the knowledge of the driver range, has allowed the Titleist engineers the ability to move the mass optimally. In addition to this a new L-Cup Face improves performance on those low impact shots and the refined shaping on each model gives players two distinct options to choose from.
The GT2 fairway delivers a higher flight, low spin and exceptional forgiveness. The GT3 on the other hand offers a controlled flight, fast ball speeds and maximum adjustability.
