adidas Rolling Links Collection

With the global landscape of golf forever being influenced and the perennial goal posts of what is considered acceptable on course moving endlessly, adidas have sought to take advantage of this with their new boundary-pushing collaboration. The Rolling Links collection brings together the worlds of golf and skateboarding in to a limited capsule that would be at home as much on a skatepark as it would on-course. Whilst at first glance the two disciplines may seem worlds apart, skateboarding and golf share striking similarities which have been drawn upon to curate the drop; strong community, unapologetic style and the individual nature of each sport are exactly why this merging of the two makes so much sense.

 

Throughout the collection the iconic adidas trefoil and 3-stripe detailing appears on garments such as crewneck wind shirts,  hoodies, V-Neck vests, short and long sleeve polos and an excellent mock neck short sleeved shirt and two footwear silhouettes, which offer a smart but sporty vibe.

 

Dylan Moore, the creative director of adidas had this to say about Rolling Links: "The golf fashion landscape today is getting influenced by numerous areas across sport, culture and fashion. Like golf, skateboarding is a sport where style is unassuming, individual and with a little bit of attitude. We saw an opportunity to bring some of that design direction from our skateboarding counterparts at the brand to create something truly unique for the course and continue to push golf fashion in a new way.”
